His legacy remains strong today through its spirit!
How Did He Influence the Community?
Larry had an immense effect on Rosa Mystica Foundation of America and its members, not to mention itself. Through regular prayer services and community activities, his engagement became a vital source of spiritual support and comfort to his surrounding. Through his example and peaceful devotion to his beliefs he taught us the value of strong faith as well as community participation; through him we learned of quiet devotion’s strength as an asset a community can have on individual spirit and morale. His presence served as a constant reminder that one individual can make on collective spirit and morale!
What Are His Farewell Plans?
As part of Larry Vitzthum’s legacy, we invite the community to be involved with arrangements made for his funeral services and memorial. A wake is planned on Friday, March 8th from 1-3 PM at Ottman Funeral Home in Cherry Valley from which friends, family, and community members may pay their respects and reflect upon his gentle spirit and devout faith that touched so many lives over his long lifetime. A funeral Mass will follow at St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church at 3:30 PM where friends may join together in prayerful reflection of Larry’s life and legacy together as one.
