Scott Earl was known for his unflagging dedication to both his students and craft during his 25-year tenure at Bedford High School. From English, AP Literature and Creative Writing classes to mentoring his cross country and track teams (commonly known as “Mule Pack”) with perseverance and teamwork values instilled.

Scott had an impactful and lasting legacy beyond classroom and track fields. As Grand Master of Michigan Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF), he set an exemplary example for service and community involvement. Working alongside his wife Jennifer at Greyhounds of Eastern Michigan showcased their love and compassion for animals; foster care was provided to many greyhounds through this organization. Scott was also an Elder at Elem3nt Church in Blissfield Michigan where he deepened his faith while sharing it with others.
